SNORE
It's 2 a.m. There's leftover cake in the fridge. Grandpa is asleep across the hall.
His snoring is your cover. Move while he snores. When he goes quiet, freeze.
HOW IT WORKS
- Every step makes noise. A loud snore hides it. The silence between snores doesn't.
- Creaky floorboards, crinkling foil and your phone light can all give you away.
- If he wakes up, hide in the wardrobe or the cupboard, and hope he didn't see you get in.
Night 1 is out now. Nights 2 to 5 are in development.
Play with headphones. The sound tells you where he is.
CONTROLS
WASD / arrows: move
Mouse: look
Shift: run
C: crouch
E: use, hide
F: phone light
Esc: pause
Keyboard and mouse only. Does not work on phones.
Warning: loud sounds and a bright screen flash.
Made with three.js. Everything in the house, including Grandpa and every sound, is generated in code. No image or audio files.

I liked this very much and the sneaking mechanic for it. I ended up bundling it together with another short game I played, but I’m looking forward to the other nights releasing.
Thanks so much for playing and for the video! [the moment you liked] made my day. Really glad the sneaking clicked for you. Nights 2 to 5 are in the works, and I'll post here when the next one is out.
I like it. Very well made mechanics and effects.
In this level there's technically no need for stealth. You can just run to the fridge and run back before you get caught. I guess that won't work in other levels if you have more tasks than that.
Small nitpick: There's a blackscreen after going back to bed that adds about 10 seconds to your time.
Thanks, this is really useful feedback, and you're right on both points.
Running straight to the fridge works too well on night 1. I'm going to make Grandpa react much faster to running, so sprinting becomes a gamble instead of a shortcut.
The black screen after you get into bed is an audio outro (try it with headphones and listen to what's outside your door), but it shouldn't count toward your time. I'll fix the timer in the next update.
Fixed in v1.5
